I have a passion for teaching! I am excited to join Camp PMC as a Level 2 Certified Instructor! For the last 18 years I’ve have been teaching PMC workshops coupled with metalsmithing technique classes at studios and art centers around the United States! I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Long Island University, and a Masters of Art Education from Texas Tech University. I love combining metal clay with soldering and setting techniques to create unique statement jewelry. You can catch one of my classes around the US, or you can contact me for a private one-on-one workshop at my studio in San Antonio.

I serve as the Director of Educational Content for KilnFrog.com, an online resource for kiln education, equipment, and supplies, serving the glass, metals, and clay communities. I have served as an adjunct faculty member at The Southwest School of Art in San Antonio and Texas Tech University, and have been a visiting instructor at Arrowmont School of Art & Craft, The Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, The Sawgrass School of Art, The Phoenix Center for the Arts, plus BeadFest Philadelphia, and Santa Fe.

My work conveys the beauty of identity and acceptance through natural forms. Each piece is a symbolic representation of struggle, rebellion, growth, and acceptance of who we are versus who we are expected to be. These messages are communicated boldly, directly, and sometimes defiantly. Her goal is to create highly personal, wearable objects that are emblematic statements of strength, energy and transformation.
