Jennifer Knollenberg is a goldsmith and jewelry designer.  She received her Graduate Jeweler education through the Revere Academy and was certified through the Jewelers Association as a Jeweler Technician in 2001.  She holds a master’s degree in chemistry and has done advance studies in food science.

Having always enjoyed teaching, she became a certified Precious Metal Clay instructor in 2003.  She is an avid learner and likes to translate complicated techniques into easy to understand concepts.  She has taught highly technical jewelry skills and methods to jewelers and lay people including children on topics such as 22kt gold granulation, fusing with argentium, torch-fired enameling, stamping on metal, metal clay and many others.

Although Jennifer is highly skilled, her easy going personality and teaching style encourages her students to learn even difficult concepts with ease.  As one of her students you can expect to fully understand the material and be able to apply it to your own creative designs.  Most of her classes allow for creative expression and she is a wizard at trouble shooting.

She is always seeking new avenues for learning and her creativity has allowed her to develop both high-end and low-end jewelry lines for sale in art galleries, jewelry stores and local clothing outlets.  She enjoys traveling, is an avid baker (she even wrote a cookbook on gluten-free and sugar-free desserts!), keeping honey bees and just about anything that involves fun, learning something new and adventure.  She lives and teaches in Madison, WI and often offers classes in Colorado as well.
