Nancy Sanders has always been intrigued by jewelry, but in 2007, she began to create it. That year, she retired from her 30 year career in teaching languages in high school and junior high. During those years, she was published numerous times in Who’s Who in American Teachers, she served as Department Chair, and was nominated for several awards.
Her current passions are teaching, international travel, and jewelry. Nancy continues her education in precious metal clay, chainmaille, and glass arts, and is constantly expanding her knowledge and skills. She is certified in both PMC and art clay, and is currently exhibiting her work at Elegant Beads Gallery.
“We are all learners and teachers on our own paths through life. The joy is in sharing and helping others, which is why I love to teach.” - Nancy Sanders
